Homemade Tortilla Chips
1 package of corn tortillas
Olive oil or Smart Balance oil
Salt
Preheat oven to 350. Lightly brush each side of the corn tortilla with the oil of your choice. Stack them up as you go. Cut into fourths or eights and place on cookie sheet. Sprinkle with salt. Bake for 13-15 minutes. Baking time will depend on your oven. If you take them out and they are not crispy then put them back in the oven for a few minutes.
This is a healthy and cheaper alternative to store bought chips. We keep ours in a tupperware container on the kitchen counter. I usually don't make the whole package of tortillas. I usually split it up into a couple of batches. You can make as much or as little as you like.
